I’ve been bringing up the topic of the first Bitcoin ATM just recently entering service in Canada, but we haven’t — up until now — seen the machine in action in a real world scenario. Thankfully, someone on YouTube took the time to convert $100 CAD into Bitcoin.
It does look simple, but I’m waiting for the news blurbs of people getting Bitcoins stolen because someone was watching the screen or happened to scan a barcode from the screen. You’ll notice at one point the private key to the user’s purchased Bitcoins is displayed in a relatively large font, as well.
It may need some work, but the process looks easy as pie. What do you think?
